Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept walk-in appointments?

You betchya!

How do you determine the price of a tattoo?

Your tattoo will be priced based on the final size, design and location. To receive the most approximate price quote, it's best to stop into the shop and speak with an artist in person. Otherwise please feel free to email us at any time including: your name and contact information, a description of what you'd like to get tattooed, an image or two to help use as a reference, and where you would like it placed.

Do you tattoo anyone under the age of 18?

We understand that Montana allows a child under the age of 18 to be tattooed with both parental consent and supervision. However, with years of experience to help us conclude our professional opinion - Cutthroat Tattoo decides against tattooing anyone underage. No exceptions.

Do you accept credit/debit cards?

Unfortunately, we do not accept any credit/debit cards. We accept *CASH ONLY* and appreciate those that come prepared. Note: There are ATM's within walking distance of the shop.

Are my friends/family able to come with me during my session?

Of course! Having a friend or family member present can always help calm your nerves. But when it's showtime, we allow only the individual getting tattooed into the work area.

Do you have a piercer?

No.

Do I need to schedule an appointment for a consultation?

No appointments for consultations are necessary. You are more than welcome to stop in at any time during business hours to speak with us about your design ideas in person.

Do you require a deposit?

A $50.00 deposit is required to hold all appointments and goes towards the cost of your tattoo. All deposits are non-refundable and require a 48 hour notice in order to be transferred to a new set appointment.

And no, we do not require deposits for drawing your tattoo design.
